Vacuum therapy devices can typically be used safely with or without other ED treatments, such as oral medication.
Vacuum devices can be used to increase the blood flow to the region to help supplement or enhance performance in lieu of other treatments. Since ED can be a symptom of something else, you should always talk with your doctor about your individual health conditions to make the decision on a combination of treatments for ED that would be best for you.
